Thai Kick

Every Monday now I have the same routine. Skip my morning workout, go to work and race home to hit the gym. Several months ago I bought a 30 class pack at The WAT, my favorite Thai Boxing gym. Maybe I've gotten a bit older since my Tae Kwon Do days, cause I suffer like never before after every class.

Today I went to class with my bruises unhealed on my arms from last weeks beating by Kamuti. Tonight I sit with feet propped up high and the blood vessels blown on the top of both feet from kicking the bags. Although as classes goes, tonight was easy. Just one hour of constant movement. We do exercises such as free squats and clapping pushups during any downtime just to keep moving. I thought after 2 months that I'd get used to it, but that day has yet to come. So tonight I sit here not moving much and watching the first half of Million Dollar Baby cause the second half is too depressing.
